In his response, Judge Dan Slayton considers ARS 28-812 to place upon bicyclists the "same rights and duties as a driver of a _motor_ vehicle...". He purports to quote from statute but adds the significant word "motor", and does it without referencing the explanation of my own understanding given in the appeal. He probably glossed over all details, and his short reply fails to address most of my arguments (Selz, DOT signs, Maxwell and the AG opinion, the applicability of 704A). Although I learned some good things while preparing the appeal, Slayton's response contributes nothing of note.
